TSL262 IR Sensors
« on: 02 November, 2007, 09:12:38 AM »
I'm buying a load of TSL262 sensors as used on Primus from mouser in the US.  I'll be buying 50, if anyone wants to buy some them from me, they'll be 2.20 each with a matching IR LED

TSL262 Datasheet:
http://www.datasheetarchive.com/pdf/3478343.pdf
IR Emitter Datasheet:
http://www.datasheetarchive.com/pdf/2059721.pdf

Delivery will be 2 on orders below 10, and free over that.

See http://gobotics.net for these, now cheaper at 2 each (1.80 each for 10+, 1.50 each for 30+)

Thanks for looking,
Bob

Update: i  will be keeping 15 of the sensors for my robots.

Available:
50
35 - 15 for me
20 - 15 for derek
10 - 10 for peteh
0 - 10 for PeterW

If there is still interest when the remaining sensors have sold, i may consider doing a second bulk (100+) order, along with other items people may find useful.

If people want to cut out the postage, i'll be at RoboTIC, and can give you the items there.

Thanks
Bob

The sensors arrived today, no problems with customs or anything :)

Can the people who are buying the sensors (list in my previous post) tell me whether they want them posting, or want to collect them at RoboTIC07.

Turns out i forgot some crimp connectors i needed in my order, so i'll be putting in a second order in the next couple of days for 50 more sensors + LEDs. andynxn gets the first 10 of the new batch, if anyone else wants any, please post below or PM me. first come first serve!

Also, if anyone wants anything else from mouser post the code + quantity below and we can combine shipping.

Thanks
Bob

I will collect at RoboTIC if that is OK with you.

Now that you are in danger of becoming our supplier of hard-to-source parts...

Anyone know of a supplier for Renesas SuperH processors in a language I can understand? There are several in Japan but I find that a bit tricky. the UK distributors of Renesas parts only want to shift industrial quantities.

I can order from Digikey if I have to...

I will pick mine up at Robotic07 if that is ok .
Do you want the money sent or cash at the event.
If this catches on it might be worth considering a bring and buy table for anything robotic.

PeterW and peteh, you can pay at RoboTIC when you pick up the sensors, it seems the most sensible way to go about it.

Derek, your sensors shipped today by RMSD, should be with you tomorrow morning.

Bob,

Did you order a second batch of sensors and if so have they all been sold?

I would purchase 10 if you have any left.

I can do if there is enough interest.  I think the next order would be 100 or so, so plenty to go around.

Anyone want anything from mouser when i order?

I now have 90 of these sensors in stock, easiest way to buy them is using my online shop at http://gobotics.net

Use the coupon MMFREE for free shipping.

The price decreases to 1.80 each if you buy 10.

There seems to be a problem with the gobotics.net site when I go to "New customer" then "Continue" the boxes to fill my details appear but as soon as I place the mouse over the area with the boxes to select one they all disappear.
